Dear Diary,

What a great visit we had with Jeff’s parents, it was so great to see them and the time just flew by. Plus, they were totally cool with me jetting off to Tahoe to pick up Kix Brooks’ boots.

I am happy to report that we not only hit our $30,000 goal, but we surpassed it. We might even get to $36,000. It is so amazing the support we got. Jeff has also hit his goal. Now I am going to focus on getting the rest of the team to each of their $2300.

The billboard will be up by noon today in Alameda. It is on 880 south. Plus, it is on the website. So, if you don’t drive 880…you can still see it.

Now, if I could just get more training walks in.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

With her reality show and new fragrance on the way, Jessica Simpson is gearing up for a fabulous fall — and she’s already celebrating with Macy’s! For the past two weeks, the store’s Herald Square flagship has dedicated their windows to Jessica Simpson Collection’s fall line, and Jessica tells PEOPLE exclusively that it’s “a total thrill for me. I feel privileged just to be in business with such an iconic store.” She continues, “And it is an honor to know that Macy’s respects and believes in my brand so much that they chose to feature the Fall collection in the windows at one of their flagship stores! WOW…I feel blessed.”

But that’s not the only way that Jessica teaming up with Macy’s this fall — she’s also a part of their Come Together campaign, which is working with Feeding America to help families in need. And while Jessica may be goofing around in the star-filled commercial for the campaign — “I get to throw a baguette at Tommy Hilfiger, which is fun,” she jokes — she is deeply committed to the cause. “Hopefully this commercial will help raise money for Feeding America. It’s such an incredible charity. It’s amazing the numbers of how many people are hungry in America,” Jessica says. And Simpson is also helping the cause by throwing her own Coming Together dinner party to raise money. “I’ll definitely throw a dinner party. It might not be as tidy as a Martha Stewart dinner party, but I will cook up some good food – Southern style!” Jessica even has a guest-of-honor in mind. “The one person I would love to have at my dinner party is Dolly Parton. She’s always good with the laughter and the one liners.”  HAHAHA, can The Wolf come too?

Dear Diary,

I am so glad the weather has been nice for John and Josie’s visit. They walked around Sausalito yesterday while Jeff worked and I snuck in a cat nap. I also did a quick workout with one of my Firm tapes. I wanted to get a workout in, we went to North Beach for dinner. We ate at Cafe Delucci last night. I love that place, it is so good.

Today, after Josie’s debut on the morning show we are going on a walking tour of the city. They have been to the city before, but have never been to Chinatown. So, we will start there and work our way around to Coit Tower and end up at the Embarcadero.

Tomorrow, we are taking them to Sonoma. Our friend, Lisa, is going to show us around Brutacoa. We did this with my dad and stepmom and it was fantastic. So, we thought John and Josie would like it too:)

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

Dear Diary,

John and Josie made it to the Bay Area safely yesterday. We brought them back to the house, dropped off their luggage and headed to Tiburon. They have been to San Francisco before, so we wanted to show them some of the surrounding areas. We had lunch at Sam’s. The weather was beautiful and it wasn’t crowded.

They were kind of beat from traveling, so we went back to the house, opened a bottle of wine and relaxed. We lit a fire in the outdoor pit and caught up. It is so great to see them.

We are going to have Josie on the air tomorrow. We are playing ‘Smarter than a North Dakotan.’ Should be good stuff…you are darn tootin.’

I am looking for a tattoo artist in the city. I need one close by, plus I also need one who doesn’t blow me off all the time. However, that is another story.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press, a finding that makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died.

The coroner determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died June 25 in his rented Los Angeles mansion, according to the official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released. Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Jackson’s death, the official said.

Dr. Conrad Murray, a Las Vegas cardiologist who became Jackson’s personal physician weeks before his death, is the target of a manslaughter investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. According to a search warrant affidavit unsealed Monday in Houston, Murray told investigators he administered a 25 mg dose of propofol around 10:40 a.m. after spending the night injecting Jackson with two sedatives in an unsuccessful attempt to get him to sleep.

Michael Jackson BurialThe warrant, dated July 23, states that lethal levels of propofol were found in Jackson’s system. Besides the propofol and two sedatives, the coroner’s toxicology report found other substances in Jackson’s system but they were not believed to have been a factor in the singer’s death, the official said.

Murray has spoken to police and last week released a video saying he “told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail.” His attorney, Edward Chernoff, had no immediate comment but has previously said Murray never administered anything that “should have” killed Jackson.

A call to the coroner’s office was not returned Monday.

Murray did not say anything about the drugs he gave to Jackson.

It looks like Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are more than just friendly costars.

Last Wednesday, as Cyrus bid Australian actor Liam Hemsworth goodbye at the Nashville airport, the two kissed – and were “full-on making out,” says Alex Emanuel, a New York actor who was a few feet away from the couple and saw Cyrus, 16, act “as giddy as a schoolgirl.”

Hemsworth jumped out of Cyrus’s truck with his luggage and headed for the terminal doors when “she jumped into his arms and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him and leaned back and he was dipping her,” says Emanuel. “It was like a scene out of an old movie where the guy’s getting on a train and they’re saying their goodbyes.”

The two actors recently wrapped the film The Last Song (also starring Kelly Preston and Greg Kinnear) in Tybee, Georgia, and attended the film’s wrap party together on Aug. 16.

According to Cyrus’s Twitter posts, she is maintaining her single status. “I do not have a boyfriend,” she writes.

But she says shhe’s been teaching Hemsworth a thing or two about Southern eats. “@mommytish and @auntedi and I are introducing the aussie to cracker barrel!!! Yummyyy :) ” Cyrus wrote about taking Hemsworth to the restaurant chain.

She also revealed they like to stay in and nosh in front of the TV. Her Aug. 14th Tweet: “I kinda want to go see ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ but I think I’ll just sit around and eat sushi and watch “Liar Liar” with Liam :)

It’s official: LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are no longer hiding their relationship. On Saturday night, the couple stepped out to the Kings of Leon concert in Los Angeles, just two days after they hit the links – and openly flirted with each other – at Valencia Country Club.

The couple’s decision to go public prompted Cibrian’s estranged wife Brandi Glanville to tell PEOPLE: “He’s just somebody I don’t know.” In March, she had stood by her husband of eight years after allegations surfaced that Cibrian, 36, and Rimes, 26, were having affair.

“I don’t understand,” she says now. “You think you know one thing and you wake up and it’s all been a lie.”

Glanville, who is separated from the CSI: Miami star, says she is unable to completely explain to the couple’s sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2, what is going on between mom and dad. (Rimes and her husband, Dean Sheremet, are also separated.)

“They know that daddy is at work all the time,” she says. “That’s what I tell them. When he does come home it is surprising for them and they are very happy.”

Glanville, on the other hand, has a different reaction: “I’m just like, ‘You know what? You’re not the man I married.’ “

She adds that she has spoken with Rimes twice recently, and told her, “‘He’s all yours.’ “

Glanville says she has no plans to reconcile with Cibrian, and hopes to file divorce papers soon. “There is one side of him that I absolutely love and always will,” she notes, “but that side of him is not the side I’m divorcing.”

Neither Cibrian’s nor Rimes’s rep was available for comment.

Dear Diary,

Well, we did it. The house is clean. We started Friday night and went through yesterday morning. We cleaned the stairs last. Then Jeff and I went for a training walk. We did about 9-10 miles. We took a path we couldn’t map out with the car, so I am guessing by how long it took.

We hit up Home Depot on Saturday and got some new plants. Jeff tried to grow some tomatos, herbs and peppers…but they all died. This time, we picked sturdier plants. Hopefully, they will last a little longer.

We did get some relaxation time in with our Netflix. I would NOT recommend ‘I Love You, Man.’ However, if you are looking for a great action flick, pick up ‘Death Race.’ It is a little gory, but it is edge of your seat action as well.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

Dear Diary,

I sat down and made a list of everything I want to get done this weekend….boo. I didn’t realize how behind we were on house maintainance. I definitely want a clean home before we have guests. So, I only have this weekend before Jeff’s parents come.

I am excited to see them. We have some fun stuff planned. I wish we lived closer and could see them more often.

Jeff and I have both been so busy….I feel like we see each other for about 15 minutes each night. He texted me this morning and said he is taking me to a special dinner. What a sweetheart.

I would love to take a little vacation with him soon…we just have to find time.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey
