Dear Diary,

I found out officially from the folks at the Breast Cancer 3 Day, I am the highest fundraiser for the San Francisco walk. It is very exciting, and I am so proud of the Wolf team for their hard work. As a team, we have a raised over $66,000.

One of the cool things about being top fundraiser, is that they provide you with an air mattress. Now, we don’t have to worry about packing ours. The only thing I need to pick up now are 2.4 gallon Hefty ziplock bags. That is what you use to pack. This way, if it rains your clothes stay dry.

I have pretty much been off my Halloween diet since the wedding last week. I guess I can blame it on carbing up for the walk…two weeks in advance. I will start fresh on Monday…does anyone else say that every Monday?

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

Dear Diary,

I went in for another adjustment with the chiropractor yesterday. It sure doesn’t take much to throw yourself out of alignment. I will go in one more time before the walk on Friday.

I think we have almost everything we need. Jeff and I have to pick up some travel-size toiletries and I need to actually pack everything up…but that shouldn’t take long.

Ken is watching the dogs, since my normal dog-sitter is Eddie and he is doing the walk with me. He is coming over today to go over what is involved. I am somewhat concerned…what if Ken gets drunk and rolls over and smothers Javi in his sleep? Hopefully, he can keep it together for 48 hours. Jeff and I will also hide the good bottles of wine.

Tomorrow night, some friends from Florida will be in town. We are going to grab dinner with them in the city. What a treat to see them:)

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

Dear Diary,

The wedding went off without a hitch. I was so happy I could be a part of it. It was nice to check out some of the other wineries out in Sonoma, as well. My friends got married at Cline and there was a wonderful dinner afterwards. The day after, we did some wine tasting as a group.

On Saturday, we took our other pals from Minneapolis to Stinson Beach to see the coastline. We took a ton of pictures. I think they had a good time and it was so great to see them. I miss my MN pals.

Yesterday, Jeff and I got organized for the Breast Cancer 3 Day. We made lists of what we need and what we already have. We tested the air mattress to make sure it was good to go. We picked up a couple of comfy pants for nights at camp. I even snuck in an 8 mile walk…I feel good. However, I will definitely be popping some Tylenol along the route:)

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

Hannah Montana is certainly becoming a thing of the past for Miley Cyrus.  Check out this video of Cyrus performing “Party in the USA” during her Wonder World Tour. Her choreography has gotten a bit more suggestive, but see for yourself!

Dear Diary,

Yesterday was so great having Mark and Alison in town. Alison and I went to get our nails done for the wedding. We spent the whole time catching up. Then, the four of us went to dinner at Sam’s in Tiburon. It was a beautiful night.

We could have stayed up all night chatting, but I had to get to bed:( Matt and Chelsea are coming in at 11AM. Jeff will pick them up and bring them into the city to check it out.

I am going to sneak home and change the sheets in the 2 bedroom and tidy up before they get there. It would be awesome if I could sneak in a nap and a workout before they do. However, I have to be at the chiropractor by 4:30…

Then we are off to a pre-wedding dinner at the Red Grape in Sonoma. I am so excited.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

Dear Diary,

It was a late night last night…I squeezed in a short training walk last, only 5 miles. But I am trying to do at least 5 miles every day this week. This is it, my last chance to get them in.

I was finishing up things around the house to get ready for the guests. Jeff was quite enamored with his new iPhone, so he wasn’t too stoked to help wash Buster. However, I think a fresh smelling dog is nice to have when you have people coming.

The first couple gets in this afternoon. We only have them for a day and then they head to Sonoma to get their paperwork done for the wedding ceremony.

Tomorrow, the 2nd couple gets in early. Jeff will be picking them up and dropping them at my building in the city. We will see as many sites as possible before we head to the wedding activities.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

Dear Diary,

It was a busy weekend, but we took care of a lot. The Gators had a win on Saturday….it was close, closer than I would have liked. However, a win is a win.

We did some cleaning, since the guests come in starting tomorrow. Plus, we got our clothes for walking the 3 Day. It is definitely harder to outfit for this one. Who knows what the weather will be like in 2 weeks, and the route is all over. Temperatures could shift 10-degrees over the course. Layers, layers, layers…

Eddie, Jeff and I met up with Micki for dinner Saturday. Eddie and I both got sick…guess that is the last time we hit that restaurant. Jeff said he didn’t feel well either. We didn’t even get the same dishes. Yikes. We are both feeling better today, though.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Corey

It’s been nearly a week since Kanye West crashed her big moment at the Video Music Awards – but Taylor Swift has found a silver lining to all the drama.

“Artists that I didn’t even assume knew who I was [have supported me],” Swift, 19, told Elvis Duran during an interview on his Z100 radio show Friday. “I woke up the next day and I had flowers in my hotel room from Janet Jackson.

“I am blown away by all the love that was thrown in my direction,” she said, “and feel very lucky and blessed to have people come and support me like that.” (West also subsequently apologized to the singer.)

Kelly Clarkson, who penned an angry blog directed at West, was among the teen star’s most vocal supporters. “Kelly’s amazing,” Swift said. “I’d love to work with her. We should write a song together. I love how honest and real she is. She speaks her mind, and I think it’s a beautiful thing.”

Another celebrity on Swift’s radar: Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner, who was rumored to have a crush on her.

“I’d be on Team Tay,” she said. “I love him. He’s so cute.”
