It’s been nearly a week since Kanye West crashed her big moment at the Video Music Awards – but Taylor Swift has found a silver lining to all the drama.

“Artists that I didn’t even assume knew who I was [have supported me],” Swift, 19, told Elvis Duran during an interview on his Z100 radio show Friday. “I woke up the next day and I had flowers in my hotel room from Janet Jackson.

“I am blown away by all the love that was thrown in my direction,” she said, “and feel very lucky and blessed to have people come and support me like that.” (West also subsequently apologized to the singer.)

Kelly Clarkson, who penned an angry blog directed at West, was among the teen star’s most vocal supporters. “Kelly’s amazing,” Swift said. “I’d love to work with her. We should write a song together. I love how honest and real she is. She speaks her mind, and I think it’s a beautiful thing.”

Another celebrity on Swift’s radar: Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner, who was rumored to have a crush on her.

“I’d be on Team Tay,” she said. “I love him. He’s so cute.”

Tim McGraw is one ticked-off dad.

The country star took Kanye West to task after the rapper’s now infamous diss of country sweetie Taylor Swift on Sunday’s VMA Awards, telling CMT Insider the incident upset his daughters Gracie, 12, Maggie, 11, and Audrey, 7.

“He shows himself to be an idiot every time he does stuff like that,” said the country star, who also was the subject of Swift’s first hit single called “Tim McGraw.” “[My girls] were upset. But what he did do is provide a great example of how not to be, and my girls learned a big lesson.”

But, he added, “when they weren’t looking I said, “He needs an a– whoopin’!”

The interview with McGraw will air on CMT Insider Saturday, Sept. 19 at 1:30 p.m. ET/PT.

ellenSimon better watch the “gay” comments next season on Idol because Ellen is coming to American Idol! Really? Ellen? What does she know about music? Perhaps more than we know…. read on!

There’s one thing you can count on when Ellen DeGeneres takes over judging duties at American Idol next season.

“I’m not going to be mean,” she tells On Air With Ryan Seacrest. “I hate it when Simon’s that mean.”

Hardly a surprise from the talk-show host who’s famous for her placid demeanor, but DeGeneres does admit she lost her cool when she first was asked to be the replacement judge for Paula Abdul.

“I was like, ‘Are you kdding me? I love that show. I absolutely would give anything to be a part of that,’” she says.

DeGeneres, who says she was “shocked” to hear of Abdul’s departure, says she hopes there aren’t any hard feelings from her predecessor.

“I hope Paula’s OK with it,” she says. “I don’t want anyone to think I took Paula’s job away.”

She also addressed how she’d be like Abdul — and what she’ll be doing differently.

“Paula was a huge part of the show, and that’s a role that needs to be filled by someone in a totally different way,” DeGeneres says.

Later, she adds: “I think you can be honest in a pretty kind way. I hope to be that compassionate person. That’s the one thing Paula did bring, that compassion.”

To that end, she promises to confront infamously acerbic fellow judge Simon Cowell when his words get too nasty.

“I’ll tell him the same thing [I tell him when] he’s on [my] show, that he’s mean,” she says.

And though critics may say that DeGeneres — with a background in stand-up comedy — doesn’t have the chops to judge a musical competition, she says her role will be to represent the people who really count — the average TV viewer.

“I’m just a fan like everybody else,” she says. “Ultimately, it doesn’t come down to some expert in the music industry, it comes down to the person at home that says, ‘That’s the person I relate to and whose records I’m going to buy.’ I hope to be that voice.”

And, oh yeah, she’ll also bring that famous DeGeneres wit: “I’m going to have fun with it,” she says.

Can you believe it!?!? Baby NUMBER 19?!?! And she is a Grandma!!!!!

 duggars Pictures, Images and Photos

Just a short eight months after the birth of Jordyn-Grace, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar recently announced that they are expecting their 19th child.

Surrounded by their 18 children, including their eldest Josh and his pregnant wife, Anna, the famously fertile couple told the “Today” show’s Meredith Vieira that they are thrilled to add yet another child to their brood.

“We are thrilled to announce that we found out we’re expecting our 19th child,” Michelle Duggar said.

As well as expecting their own baby, the Duggars are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their very first grandchild, a girl, this fall. Josh and Anna Duggar added to the excitement when they revealed that their baby’s name would begin with an “M.”

It seems that 18 is a lucky number for the Duggars — following on the birth of 18th child Jordyn-Grace, the couple is expecting this newest arrival on March 18. Jim Bob celebrates his birthday on July 18, and their grandchild is due to make her debut on Oct. 18.

Of her pregnancy, veteran mom Michelle, 42, says that she’s feeling the typical first-trimester nausea, but is generally doing well.

“I’m feeling sick and tired, which is a good way to be feeling about right now,” she told Vieria. “I always tell myself that’s a good way to be, because that means good things are happening.”

The pregnancy took Michelle by surprise a bit: The average gap between the Duggar children is 18 months. Just eight months after Jordyn’s birth, Michelle noticed that she was putting on weight and that the baby fussed when she nursed. Those two signs alerted her that she might be expecting yet again.

Michelle has been pregnant for 147 months of her life, and she still has five more to go. For those playing along at home, that’s more than 12 years of pregnancy.
