Eric Church’s “Hell On The Heart” Video

Eric Church is back in the country top ten this week with “Hell on the Heart,” featuring a video that he describes as a “straight-up performance…rock ‘n roll video.” He says, “We had the plan for it to be three or four different scenes and some acting and some performance.” Once they started editing the clips, however, Eric and his crew decided to only use the performance part of the footage. “It just became the thing that had the most energy and the most connection,” Eric explains.

My First CD is Out. It has Something to do with Toby!!

Many years ago I met a really nice guy named Rich Eckhardt. We hit it off and every since we’ve been the best of friends. He plays in a band (you may know)…called The Easy Money Band..yep…that’s Toby’s band. Well, Rich Eckhardt is Toby’s lead guitarist for the band and he has his second Cd out. I was really super surprised when Rich asked me to be on his CD, so without question I said “Sure!” and thanked him so much for asking me to be a part of his CD. I had the opportunity to listen to the final project and trust me, it’s incredible. His first CD is called “Soundcheck” which is amazing (my favorite tracks are numbers 3, 6 , 8 and 9) and his recent one that is JUST NOW ready is called “Cottage City Firehouse”. I’m on this CD..woo whooo..I’m actually on the CD..can you believe it? OMG…I’m on track number 9 (tequila).

On his website you can hear clips of his new CD as well as hear clips from his previous CD “Soundcheck”. If you go to his website at www.richeckhardt.com you’ll see it in there. I do not receive profits from this CD just so you know. I am just so happy he asked me to be part of it and I wanted to share it with you.

The Name of our Birthday Bash is “Barefoot and Crazy” which happens to be our host’s title of his latest single:

Tomorrow is the day and we’re so excited to see you! Your Wolf turns two (14 in human lives) so you know we’re gonna have some fun. Trent Tomlinson. You’ve heard this guy on your Wolf. He’s the “Big Voice Guy” when he says “The bay area clock tower strikes (a certain hour). That’s Jack’s voice. Jack is probably one of the nicest artists I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He performs so gracefully and never misses a beat. His voice is very commanding and he relates to the audience as though he knows each and every one of us. Here’s a little bit about Jack:

It’s Time To Rise and Shine and Be Seen!!!

Last week, while I was on the air. I had a great idea…(well, I think it’s a great idea. ). I’m looking for local bands who want to showcase their music here on my blog. If you are a band from California and would like to be seen by a ton of people send me your information and if you have a video that would be great. Please provide your name of the band, pictures if you have any, the name of your band members and also attach the song, in an mp3 format.

Who knows what will happen. Maybe a record rep could see your music on my blog…ya never know but it’s worth a shot, isn’t it?

Each week, we will have battle of the bands where listeners can vote daily and the band who gets the most votes on the website wins. I’m trying to find out if the winner can have their song played on the Wolf!! (I’m sure I can make this happen, I just need to talk to the boss!). “Shuttin’ Detroit Down”

Jon Rich has a new song out called “Shuttin’ Detroit Down.” It’s probably the most relevant song any artist (be it in the Country music format or a differing one) has put out in these difficult economic times. If you haven’t listened to the song yet, give it three minutes of your time and you’ll understand! It points out what we’ve all been thinking but puts it in a very artistic manner that simply blew me away!
