Dear Diary,

It was back to the daily grind yesterday. I think everybody was in slow-motion. I was looking around the building and nothing was actually getting done. It was kind of funny.

It was nice to spend the afternoon with my dogs. I missed them while we were in Minneapolis. Eddie took such great care of them. He said they were well-behaved. Usually when we go out of town, they sulk when we get back. They didn’t do that this time. They were quite happy.

The four days off were nice, but I am really looking forward to Christmas. It will be a week in Florida with my family and friends. I can’t wait, it is going to be so much fun.

In the meantime, I need to watch that holiday eating. It is going to catch up with me and I don’t want to look like a water buffalo when I go home.
