Dear Diary,

It is Friday and I am completely hyper…I think it is the fourteen cups of coffee I have had. Oops. I am excited, though. My dad and Suzette come in tomorrow. Jeff and I have all of these fun plans, I hope we have enough time.

Cindy from the Berkeley Humane Society came in for her Friday segment. She brought the cutest Chihuahua, his name is Brody. I asked Marla the pet psychic yesterday if I was supposed to get a third dog. She said it was not in the stars. 

Marla told me something really cool about my cat, Shadow. He was with me for years and we had to put him down before we moved out here. She said he will come back into my life in a couple of years. She said even though our pets pass on, they stick with us in some form or another. I love that.

This day has gone by so fast, Jeff is working from home and we are headed to lunch. I am so happy it is the weekend.
