This week has been so jam-packed, I feel like today should be Friday. However, it is Friday Eve and I do like that. I met up with some out of town friends yesterday for lunch. We caught up on so much that lunch turned into happy hour. Eventually, Jeff met up with us and next thing you know it is 7:30.

Oops…but it was fun and life is short.

I must get home in a timely manner today. I could tell the pups were a little miffed at how late we got home. I will spend some quality time with them today.

My sis left for Maui yesterday. Her boyfriend is wrapping up some interviews with a new job there. I am excited for them…and also I am excited to have a free place to stay out there. Not too shabby:)

He went to the hospital and twittered while he was there – everything checked out fine but man, he got a nasty ol’ bruise which, of course, he posted to twitter and asked for captions from fans – the fav so far is The Hurt Rocker (nod to the Oscar winning movie, there   )

The Zac Brown Band concert last night was fantastic. The Fox Theater is so cool, what an awesome venue. I hope they put a lot of shows there. Joey and Rory were there as well, and it is always a treat to hear them sing. They did this amazing acoustic version of ‘Freebird.’ Who would’ve thought?

Zac Brown is such a personable guy. He held an Eat & Greet for some fan club members and some Wolf pack members. He and his personal chef prepared some fantastic dishes. There was pork loin, sweet potato hash browns, a fabulous steak with Zac’s own rub….mmmmm, it was all so good.

I wish we could have watched the whole show, but we gotta get up so early.

Busy Monday and we had some crazy weather. When I got home from work I took the dogs out and right after I got back in, it started to hail. It was small hail but there was a ton of it. The ducks didn’t know what hit ‘em. Poor little guys. I was just happy I made it in with the pups before it hit.

Then it rained on and off for the rest of the day. That was fine with me, I was okay with staying in.

Tonight is the Zac Brown Band concert at the Fox Theater in Oakland. We are meeting super early, so I am going to try to fit in a workout and a nap, but I don’t think that is a reality. I am still in eating mode from Mexico. That has to stop ASAP.

 My dad is in New York today for a speaking engagement. I am so proud of him. Can’t wait to hear how it goes.

Our trip to Cabo was so nice. It was such a treat to see Jeff’s family, catch up and be in such a relaxing setting. We went whale-watching one day, which was amazing. I couldn’t believe how big they are or how close to the boat they got. Jeff got some fabulous pictures.

I also loved walking around downtown. It was so pretty and the culture is so fascinating. We found some great souvenirs to take home. Plus, we made a pit stop at Cabo Wabo. That place was packed and the band was great.

Things kind of took a down turn when I got sick Friday…but at least it was the end of the week and the weather turned rainy. It must have been something I ate, cause we sure did a lot of eating.

It was great to come home and see the pups, though. I missed them. They wouldn’t leave our side for the rest of the weekend.
