brad Like Wife, Like Husband: Brad Paisley is following wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley’s (According To Jim) lead with a self-starring role and songwriting gig for next season’s CW drama Nashville. Paisley is teaming with One Tree Hill exec producer Mark Schwahn, Star Trek’s Zach Quinto and others to produce the show about a rising young female singing star and a male songwriter whose career is uncertain.

Fearless City Limits: Looks like Taylor Swift will get the final laugh on “Kanyegate” when she is her own musical guest as host of Saturday Night Live Nov. 7. “There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits,” Swift told the Associated Press Thursday (10/15). And no subject was off-limits for Swift’s three-part interview with Oprah Winfrey and teen guest correspondent Jordan Casner on Wednesday’s (10/14) Oprah Winfrey Show.
taylorbandSwift gave a behind-the-scenes tour of her Hendersonville, TN home, where she wrote hits “Our Song” and “Love Story” and a backstage look at her Fearless 2009 Tour. Swift even dished about her new condo and her crushes, or lack thereof. “As far as, ‘Do I have a guy in my life?’ No,” Swift said. “As far as having a boyfriend, I’ve never wanted to be in a relationship that I wasn’t 100% in.” A surprise for twins and über-fans Meg and Liz, and a performance of “Love Story” capped the busy week for Swift, who leads all artists with six nominations for the American Music Awards. She even bests Michael Jackson’s five posthumous nods. Other country stars up for awards include Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Gloriana and Zac Brown Band. See a complete nominees list and vote here. The AMAs air live Nov. 22 at 8pm ET on ABC.
